What is the living situation like? Can I get my own room?
The living quarters are dorm-style in a clinical facility setting. All rooms are shared with roommates, and private rooms are not available. This setup is designed to foster peer support and accountability.
Is this a closed/locked facility?
No, it is not a locked facility. While it is an inpatient program and clients are not free to leave the premises, you can choose to discharge against medical advice (AMA) at any time.
Can I use my phone or laptop? Is smoking allowed?
Yes, smoking and vaping are permitted in designated outdoor areas. Personal electronics like cell phones and laptops are not allowed. After a 7-day stabilization period, you may use the facility's landline phone.
What should I bring with me?
Bring: ID and insurance cards, any current medications in original bottles, about one week of comfortable clothing (modest, no drug/alcohol references), slip-on shoes, and tennis shoes. You can also bring sealed, alcohol-free toiletries, unopened snacks/drinks, and a credit card.
