We offer a robust Alumni Program and an active recovery community to provide ongoing support, connection, and sober events long after treatment is completed.
What is the difference between inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment?
When we think about the difference between inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment, it really comes down to how much structure and support we feel we need in order to stay on track. Inpatient treatment is like stepping out of our everyday world and into a safe, controlled environment where we live at the facility full-time, away from the triggers, stresses, and routines that might have fueled our addiction. It feels intense and immersive, but it also gives us 24/7 medical and emotional support and the space to focus entirely on healing. Outpatient treatment, on the other hand, feels more like weaving recovery into our everyday lives—we still go home at night, and we learn to apply the tools of recovery while staying connected to the “real world,” which can be both empowering and challenging. Inpatient feels like a reset button, while outpatient feels more like practicing balance. Both have their place, and the choice often depends on how much stability we already have and how severe our addiction is.
