Typical Length: 5-10 Days
The journey begins with a safe, on-site medical detox. Under 24/7 nursing care, clients are comfortably and safely withdrawn from substances, preparing their minds and bodies for the intensive therapeutic work ahead.
Average Stay: 30 Days
The core of the program is residential treatment on their 46-acre campus. Clients engage in individual and group therapy, experiential modalities like equine therapy and psychodrama, and family programming, all guided by the proven Meadows Model.

As a step-down or for those needing less intensive care, The Meadows Outpatient Centers provide IOP services. A virtual IOP option (MBH Connect) is also available, allowing clients to receive high-quality care from home.

The southwestern-style facility is designed to feel cozy and home-like, fostering a sense of safety and community. With a capacity of 42 beds, the program maintains a high staff-to-patient ratio, ensuring individualized attention. The co-ed program provides shared rooms, encouraging peer support and connection throughout the recovery journey.
A spacious, natural setting with walking trails, a fishing pond, and a labyrinth provides ample space for healing and reflection.
Clients are paired in comfortable, shared rooms to foster accountability and a sense of community with their peers.
Nutritious meals are served cafeteria-style, providing various options to accommodate dietary needs, including vegetarian choices.
Policies & Rules
This is not a locked facility. Clients can enjoy the grounds for walks and breaks but must remain on the property and adhere to the schedule.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (e.g., Suboxone) is permitted but may be tapered based on clinical assessment, aligning with their 12-Step model.
Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated outdoor areas. Clients are free to use these areas when not in scheduled groups.
To ensure focus on recovery, personal cell phones and laptops are not permitted. After a 1-week blackout, clients may use a house phone.
A 4-day family program is integral. After 12 days, clients are eligible for family visits twice a week, fostering connection and healing.
Valuables, weapons, non-prescribed medications, and outside food/drinks are strictly prohibited to maintain a safe therapeutic environment.

We use a blend of evidence-based and experiential therapies, including individual and group therapy, CBT, DBT, Post-Induction Therapy (PIT), psychodrama, equine therapy, art therapy, yoga, meditation, and innovative tools like neurofeedback in our Brain Center.
We provide integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders, addressing both substance use and mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD simultaneously. Our Meadows Model is specifically designed to uncover and heal the underlying trauma that often fuels both conditions.

The average length of stay for our residential program is 30 days. Some clients may benefit from a longer stay, and we also offer an optional fifth week called "Recovery in Practice Week" to help with the transition back to daily life.
The living situation is comfortable and home-like in our southwestern-style facility. To foster peer support and community, all rooms are shared, and private rooms are not available.
No, we have an open campus. Clients are free to walk the trails, use outdoor amenities, and take breaks outside. However, clients are expected to remain on the property and adhere to the structured daily schedule.

Our program is for co-ed adults (18+) from diverse backgrounds, most of whom have private insurance. With a capacity of 42 clients, you will be part of an intimate and supportive community focused on healing.
Family involvement is crucial. We host a 4-day family program during the third or fourth week of treatment. After the first 12 days, clients are eligible for family visits twice a week during designated hours.
We provide robust discharge planning, including referrals to our outpatient centers in Dallas, Austin, and Houston, our virtual IOP program, local 12-Step meetings, and sober living options to ensure a smooth transition and continued support.
