A Full Continuum of Care
Banyan Milford provides a structured, step-down approach to recovery, starting with the most intensive level of care and gradually transitioning clients toward greater independence. This model ensures that each person receives the appropriate level of support at every stage of their journey.
Program Length: 5-10 Days
The first step for most clients, medical detox provides 24/7 medical supervision from doctors and nurses to safely manage withdrawal symptoms. A medical taper is administered if necessary, ensuring client comfort and stability before beginning therapeutic work.
Program Length: Approx. 30 Days
After detox, clients transition to the residential program. Here, they live on-site and engage in intensive individual and group therapy, building a strong foundation for recovery in a highly structured and supportive setting.
Schedule: 5 days/week (9am-1pm)
PHP is a step-down from residential care, offering a full day of clinical programming while allowing clients more autonomy. This level of care helps individuals begin reintegrating into daily life while still receiving a high level of therapeutic support.
This is not just a track, but a complete, optional program for those wishing to center their recovery on Christian principles. It is an all-inclusive, non-denominational program that integrates clinical therapies with faith-based guidance from a dedicated Program Director and Chaplain, going far beyond typical bible study groups.
Facility & Environment
Banyan Milford provides a safe, secure, and structured environment essential for early recovery. The facility operates as a locked campus for detox and residential clients to ensure their safety and focus. The setting is clinical yet comfortable, designed to feel less sterile than a traditional hospital while providing 24/7 medical and clinical oversight. The facility has a current capacity of 32 beds and is undergoing expansion. Clients reside in shared rooms, fostering a sense of community and accountability. After the therapeutic day, supervised activities like trips to the gym or beach may be offered.
For client safety, detox and residential programs are in a secure, locked setting. Clients cannot leave without authorization.
Clients share rooms and bathrooms with others, which helps build peer support, fellowship, and a sense of community.
The environment is clean and professional, with amenities like a recreation room, lounge, and vending machines for client comfort.
