How long will I be there?

What is the living situation like? Can I get my own room?
Clients live in comfortable houses with a home-like feel. All rooms are semi-private, meaning you will have a roommate. Private rooms are not available.
Is this a closed/locked facility?
No, it is not a locked facility. Clients can move freely around the house and outdoor areas on the property but are not permitted to leave the premises. Clients may choose to leave Against Medical Advice (AMA) if they wish.
Can I use my phone/laptop? Is smoking allowed?
Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated outdoor areas. Personal electronics like cell phones and laptops are not allowed. After a 3-day initial period, clients can use a facility landline to make calls.
What should I bring? What should I leave at home?
Bring: About a week's worth of comfortable clothing, new/unopened alcohol-free toiletries, ID and insurance cards, and any prescribed medications in their original bottles.
Leave at home: Valuables, electronics (phones, laptops), weapons, drugs/alcohol, revealing clothing, or any outside food and drinks.
Who provides care here? Are there psychiatrists on staff?
Our care team consists of on-site licensed counselors, therapists, and nurses. Medical oversight from doctors or Nurse Practitioners is provided virtually through telehealth appointments.
Who will be in treatment with me?
The program is for co-ed adults (18+). You will be in a diverse community of peers seeking recovery from substance use and gambling disorders. The client population includes individuals covered by both Medicaid and private insurance. Each house has a capacity of 15 beds.
What is the family involvement and visitation policy?
To help clients focus entirely on their recovery during the critical residential phase, on-site family visits are not permitted. Family members can stay in contact through scheduled phone calls on the facility landline.
What kind of aftercare and follow-up support is available?
We offer a robust step-down continuum of care, including Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient with structured housing (sober living). We also have an active Alumni Program to provide long-term peer support after discharge.
