Yes, smoking and vaping are permitted in designated outdoor areas during specified break times throughout the day.

To help clients focus fully on their recovery, personal electronics like cell phones and laptops are not permitted to be carried on person. Clients can access their phones with the assistance of their case manager for essential tasks, such as paying a bill or coordinating aftercare.

Pack comfortable, season-appropriate clothing that follows the facility’s dress code—think casual, modest outfits for daily activities and layers for varying temperatures. Bring toiletries in non-alcohol-based forms, and any prescribed medications in their original pharmacy bottles. Include sneakers, sleepwear, and a light jacket. Personal items like a journal or photos of loved ones can provide comfort. Don’t forget your ID, insurance card, and a small amount of cash or debit card for essentials.

Leave behind anything that could disrupt treatment, including drugs, alcohol, or unapproved medications. Weapons, sharp objects, and aerosol sprays are prohibited. Avoid bringing revealing or offensive clothing, expensive jewelry, or large sums of cash. Products containing alcohol (mouthwash, perfume) are not allowed. Inpatient addiction treatment provides 24/7 care in a structured environment where individuals live at the facility. It offers intensive therapy and medical supervision free from outside triggers. Outpatient treatment allows participants to live at home while attending scheduled therapy. Arrowwood specializes in inpatient care, providing a fully immersive and supportive environment.

Our clinical care is primarily delivered by a dedicated team of Nurse Practitioners and nurses. While we do have consulting doctors and a psychiatrist, clients will interact most frequently with our nursing staff and licensed therapists who provide daily medical and therapeutic support.

You will be in treatment with a diverse community of co-ed adults (18+) who are also seeking recovery. Our clientele primarily consists of individuals with private insurance and some with Aetna Medicaid. The facility has a capacity of 40 beds, fostering a close-knit and supportive environment.

On-site family visitation is not a part of our program. We prioritize family healing through dedicated family therapy sessions, which are conducted remotely to involve loved ones in the recovery process and help rebuild supportive relationships.

Family involvement is facilitated through structured family therapy sessions. These sessions provide a crucial opportunity for education, communication, and healing between clients and their loved ones, guided by a professional therapist.

We have a psychiatrist on our team for medication management and consultations, though clients will primarily see Nurse Practitioners for their day-to-day medical care. We do not have psychologists on staff; therapeutic services are provided by licensed counselors and therapists.

Before discharge, our team works with each client to create a comprehensive and personalized aftercare plan. This plan includes referrals and connections to external resources such as outpatient providers, therapists, and sober living environments to ensure a smooth transition and continued support.

While we do not offer our own outpatient programs, our commitment to client success extends beyond their stay. The aftercare plan we develop serves as the primary tool for continued support, and our team can provide guidance and resources as needed post-discharge.

The campus is a modern, self-contained facility. It includes residential wings with client rooms, clinical offices for therapy, a central cafeteria, a gym, and various recreational areas like a movie theater and lounge, all within one building to provide a secure and convenient environment.
