Typical Stay: 30 Days
The residential program is the cornerstone of treatment at Pinnacle. Clients reside in a comfortable, 16-bed house, receiving around-the-clock support. The program includes intensive individual and group therapy, family programming, and holistic activities, all within a structured, substance-free environment.
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs from 6pm-9pm for 90 days
IOP serves as a vital step-down level of care, providing robust clinical support while clients live at home and reintegrate into their daily lives. This program helps individuals practice recovery skills in a real-world setting, reinforcing the lessons learned in residential treatment.
Environment & Accommodations
Pinnacle Recovery offers a non-institutional, home-like environment in a quiet residential neighborhood of Holladay, UT. The facility is designed to foster a sense of safety, community, and comfort. With a maximum capacity of only 16 beds, the program ensures an intimate setting and a high staff-to-client ratio. The program is co-ed, and clients reside together in shared rooms, promoting peer support and camaraderie.
Clients live in a comfortable house, creating a personal and less clinical atmosphere than a traditional facility.
All rooms are semi-private, meaning clients share a room with a roommate, which helps foster accountability and peer support.
The program serves both men and women, with shared living spaces and group sessions that reflect a real-world environment.
Policies & Rules
This is not a locked facility. Treatment is voluntary, and clients are expected to be committed to their recovery program.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (e.g., Suboxone) is available on a case-by-case basis, pending approval from the medical director.
Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated outdoor areas. Clients are free to use these areas during non-programming hours.
Personal cell phones are stored away. After a 7-day initial blackout period, clients get 45 minutes of monitored phone time daily.
Family involvement is encouraged through family programming. In-person visits are permitted for clients every Saturday.
To ensure safety, items like non-prescribed medications, weapons, and any products containing alcohol are strictly prohibited.

Yes, we are in-network with BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS). We can also work with other private insurance plans. We do not accept Medicaid.
No, we do not offer on-site medical detox. Clients must be medically stable before admission to our residential program.
Yes, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with Suboxone is permitted on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by our medical doctor. We often encourage the use of the Sublocade injection for suitable candidates.

The program is co-ed for adults (18+). With a small capacity of only 16 clients, you will be part of an intimate and diverse community of peers who are typically covered by private insurance like BCBS or self-pay.
Family involvement is a key part of recovery. We offer family programming, and clients are allowed in-person visits with family every Saturday.
We provide thorough discharge planning and strongly recommend stepping down to our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or other outpatient services to ensure a smooth transition and continued support.
