The first step for many, detox provides 24/7 medical supervision to safely manage withdrawal symptoms. The compassionate nursing staff ensures patient comfort and prepares them for a smooth transition into the residential program.
Standard Stay: 28 Days
Ashley's core program is a 28-day residential stay on their 147-acre campus. This program provides an immersive, structured environment with a rich curriculum of individual, group, and holistic therapies designed to heal the mind, body, and spirit.
Program Length: 1-3 Months
Located in Bel Air, MD, the PHP and IOP programs serve as a crucial step-down from residential care. They provide robust clinical support while clients live at home, helping them practice recovery skills in their daily lives. A virtual IOP option is also available for increased accessibility.
Environment & Accommodations
Ashley Addiction Treatment offers a unique, non-institutional environment on a sprawling 147-acre campus with beautiful waterfront views. The setting is designed to feel like a small college, fostering a sense of community, safety, and tranquility. With a capacity of up to 112 beds, the facility provides an immersive recovery experience. Accommodations are in comfortable, hotel-style semi-private rooms, with gender-specific assignments to ensure client comfort.
The expansive grounds provide a retreat-like atmosphere with ample space for walking, reflection, and recreation away from daily triggers.
All clients share a comfortable, hotel-style room with one roommate, fostering peer connection and support. Private rooms are not offered.
While the overall program and campus activities are co-ed, all residential rooms are assigned based on gender to ensure client comfort and safety.
Policies & Rules
This is not a locked facility. Clients are free to walk the campus, use amenities, and take smoke breaks but must remain on campus and adhere to the program schedule.
Medication-Assisted Treatment is supported. Clients on Suboxone or Methadone can have their dosage maintained. New prescriptions for controlled substances are not issued.
Cigarette smoking is permitted in designated outdoor gazebos. E-cigarettes and vapes are strictly prohibited. All tobacco products must be sealed upon admission.
Personal electronics are not permitted. Clients can use a landline for 10 min/day and have a supervised 30-min cell phone call once per week with their counselor.
During the third week of treatment, family members are invited to stay for a full day of programming and therapy. No other on-campus visitation is permitted.
