How long will I be there?
The standard length of stay for the inpatient/residential program is 28 days. Outpatient programs typically last between one and three months, depending on the level of care and individual progress.
What is the living situation like? Can I get my own room?
The living situation has a "mini college campus" feel. All rooms are hotel-style and semi-private, meaning you will share a room and bathroom with one roommate. Private rooms are not available.
Is this a closed/locked facility?
No, it is an open campus. Clients can walk anywhere on the 147-acre property when not in scheduled programming. While you cannot leave the campus, you are not locked in.
Can I use my phone/laptop? Is smoking allowed?
Cigarette smoking is permitted in designated outdoor gazebos, but vapes are not. Personal electronics like phones and laptops are not allowed. You may use a landline for 10 minutes daily and have a supervised 30-minute cell phone call with your counselor once a week.
What should I bring? What should I leave at home?
Bring: ID and insurance cards, comfortable clothing, exercise attire, unopened toiletries, prescribed medications in original bottles, sealed cigarettes if you smoke, and up to $100 cash.
Leave at home: Electronics (laptops, tablets, smartwatches), opened cigarettes or vapes, weapons, outside food/drinks, revealing clothing, and expensive valuables.

Who provides care here? Are there psychiatrists on staff?
Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team. The medical team is primarily composed of nurses supervised by a Medical Director. Patients can see a psychiatrist once a week. The team also includes licensed counselors, therapists, a personal trainer, and support staff.
Who will be in treatment with me?
The program is for co-ed adults (18+), with a capacity of up to 112 patients. The community is diverse, typically with more men than women, and consists of individuals with private insurance working toward recovery together. Rooms are gender-specific.
What is the family involvement and visitation policy?
Family involvement is a key part of recovery. During the third week of treatment, family can visit for a full day of educational and therapeutic programming. Outside of this scheduled family day, on-campus visitation is not permitted.
