What substance use disorder treatment programs do you offer?
We offer a full continuum of care, including Medical Detox, Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
How do you treat dual diagnosis / co-occurring disorders?
Our integrated dual diagnosis program addresses both substance use and mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD simultaneously. Care is provided by a specialized team, including a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, therapists, and counselors.
What types of therapies are used?
We utilize a blend of evidence-based and holistic therapies, including Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, Family Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
Does this program use the 12-Steps?
While our core program is evidence-based and clinically focused, we offer access to 12-Step meetings and support for clients who wish to incorporate it into their recovery plan.

What will my costs be for treatment?
Self-pay estimates are: Residential Treatment at $1,000/day (approx. $30,000/month); 60 days of PHP with housing is $20,000; and 60 days of IOP without housing is $10,000. It is best to call for an exact quote based on your insurance plan.
Do you accept insurance? What about Medicaid?
Yes, we partner with most major private insurance providers, including Kaiser Permanente and Blue Cross Blue Shield. We also accept Medicare. We can accept Maryland Medicaid for our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), but this does not include housing.
Do you provide detoxification services?
Yes, we offer medically supervised detoxification as the first level of care to ensure a safe and stable start to the recovery process.
Is Suboxone (MAT) permitted?
Yes. If you are already on a stable, prescribed dose of Suboxone, we will continue it as part of your treatment. However, we do not start new Suboxone prescriptions and do not manage methadone.
Daily Life, Rules & Family
How long will I be there?
The length of stay is individualized. A typical residential stay is about 30 days. Our PHP and IOP programs usually last between 2 to 5 months, depending on clinical needs.
What is the living situation like? Can I get my own room?
Clients live in comfortable, home-like residences. To foster community and peer accountability, all rooms and bathrooms are shared. Private rooms are not available.
Is this a closed/locked facility?
No, we operate on an open-campus model. The facility is not locked, and clients are expected to be responsible and committed to their treatment program.
Can I use my phone/laptop? Is smoking allowed?
Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated outdoor areas. To protect patient privacy and minimize distractions, personal electronics like cell phones and laptops are not allowed. Clients have access to a facility phone for approved calls.
What should I bring? What should I leave at home?
Bring: About a week's worth of comfortable clothing, appropriate outerwear, sneakers, personal ID and insurance cards, and any prescription medications in their original bottles. Personal toiletries must be new, unopened, and alcohol-free.
Leave at home: Valuables, weapons, non-prescribed substances, products containing alcohol, personal electronics (phones/laptops), and revealing clothing or apparel with inappropriate logos.
Who provides care here? Are there psychiatrists on staff?
Our multi-disciplinary team includes Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC), Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW), certified substance abuse counselors, and group facilitators.
Who will be in treatment with me? What is the occupancy?
You will be in a diverse community of co-ed adults (18+) who are committed to recovery. The program maintains a small, intimate setting with a maximum capacity of 16 clients, with about 8 people per gender-specific house.
What is the family involvement and visitation policy?
We strongly encourage family involvement through family therapy and support sessions. In-person visits with family are permitted on weekends, pending approval from the client's primary therapist.
What kind of aftercare and follow-up support is available?
We have an Alumni Director dedicated to connecting graduates with resources and a strong peer support network. We also provide comprehensive discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition and continued success in recovery.
