As the first step, detox is managed by a full medical team, including a psychiatrist Medical Director, Nurse Practitioners, and nurses. This ensures a safe, comfortable, and stable transition from active substance use into the residential program.

The residential program is the core of treatment, where a maximum of 13 clients live on-site. It features intensive individual therapy (each therapist has only 2-4 clients), daily group sessions, and holistic activities in an immersive, substance-free environment.

Liberty House provides an exclusive, non-institutional environment within an 8,000 sq ft home set on a serene, 34-acre private estate in Fenton, MI. The setting is designed to be comfortable and upscale to foster a sense of safety, privacy, and community. With a total capacity of only 13 clients, the center maintains an intimate feel and an exceptional 3:1 staff-to-client ratio. While the program is co-ed, residences are gender-specific, with males and females housed in separate homes on the property.

Clients can choose between semi-private (shared) rooms or opt for a private room for an additional cost, based on availability.

Policies & Rules
This is not a locked facility. Clients can go outside on the 34-acre property for walks and smoke breaks, but must remain on-site unless on a staff-led outing.
Suboxone is permitted for detox, and continuation is determined on a case-by-case basis. Methadone treatment is not offered.
Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated outdoor areas. Clients are free to use these areas when not in scheduled groups.
After the detox phase, clients are allowed access to personal electronics like phones and laptops for approximately one hour in the evening.
Family therapy is a core component. Family visits are permitted every Sunday, providing a structured opportunity to connect and heal.
Alcohol-containing products, weapons, non-prescribed medications, revealing clothing, and outside food/drinks are strictly prohibited.
