Wellbridge is located on an expansive 96-acre campus in Calverton, NY, providing a private and serene setting for recovery. The modern campus consists of four main buildings, including the main clinic, a dedicated detox/residential building, a creative arts and wellness center, and a separate lodge for the First Responders program. With a capacity of 133 beds, the facility is designed to offer a structured, safe, and comfortable environment conducive to healing.
Clients reside in a state-of-the-art facility with distinct buildings for clinical care, residential living, and wellness activities, offering a comprehensive treatment experience.
Standard accommodations are shared rooms. Clients have the option to upgrade to a private room for an additional fee of $300 per night, subject to availability.
While the overall program and activities are co-ed, residential floors are separated by gender to ensure comfort and safety for all clients.
Policies & Rules
This is a secure facility. While not a locked unit, clients cannot leave the property. Outdoor access is permitted during the day, with a 10 PM lockdown.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (e.g., Suboxone) is fully supported and prescribed based on the individual clinical needs and preferences of the patient.
Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas. Vapes and e-cigarettes are not permitted. Nicotine replacement therapy (patches) is available.
Limited tech access is allowed. Clients can use personal cell phones for 45 min/week and access facility landlines/computers for 20 min every other day.
Family therapy is encouraged. Family Days for visitation are held on the 2nd and 4th weekends of each month for approved family members (18+).
Outside food/drinks, vapes, weapons, non-prescribed medications, revealing clothing, and personal laptops are strictly prohibited.

The core program is clinical and evidence-based. However, AA and NA meetings are offered each evening as an optional support resource for clients who wish to attend. Participation is not required.

Support, Staff & Community

Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team. A medical provider (Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant) is on-site daily. The team also includes nurses, licensed counselors, therapists, and support staff.
The program is for co-ed adults (18+). With a capacity of 133 beds, you will be in a diverse community of peers with private insurance who are all working toward recovery. The program is co-ed, but residential floors are gender-specific.
Family involvement is a key part of recovery. Family therapy sessions are offered. Designated Family Days for on-site visitation are held on the second and fourth weekends of the month. Up to two approved family members (18+) may visit at a time.
