How long will I be there?
The typical length of stay for detox is 5-7 days, followed by a 28-day residential program.
What is the living situation like? Can I get my own room?
Clients live in a modern, facility-style building with gender-specific floors. The standard arrangement is a shared room. Private rooms are available for an additional cost of $300 per night, based on availability.
Is this a closed/locked facility?
It is a secure building, but not a locked-down psychiatric unit. Clients are not permitted to leave the property but can go outside on the campus grounds during the day. There is a 10 PM lockdown for safety and structure.
Can I use my phone/laptop? Is smoking allowed?
Yes, smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas (no vapes). For electronics, you get 45 minutes of personal cell phone use per week. You can also use facility landlines and computers for 20 minutes every other day after the initial 48-hour period.
What should I bring with me?
Since recreational trips off campus are not permitted, it's important to pack everything you'll need for about 30 days. Be sure to pack these essential items:
- Photo ID & Credit Card (cash not accepted)
- Comfortable clothing (7 days’ worth)
- Active wear and swimwear
- Unopened toiletries (no powders, oils, alcohol, or aerosols)
- Personal care items like a hairdryer (at staff discretion)

Who provides care here? Are there psychiatrists on staff?
Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team. A medical provider (Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant) is on-site daily. The team also includes nurses, licensed counselors, therapists, and support staff.
Who will be in treatment with me?
The program is for co-ed adults (18+). With a capacity of 133 beds, you will be in a diverse community of peers with private insurance who are all working toward recovery. The program is co-ed, but residential floors are gender-specific.
What is the family involvement and visitation policy?
Family involvement is a key part of recovery. Family therapy sessions are offered. Designated Family Days for on-site visitation are held on the second and fourth weekends of the month. Up to two approved family members (18+) may visit at a time.
What kind of aftercare and follow-up support is available?
Wellbridge provides robust aftercare planning. While they do not offer their own outpatient or sober living programs, their team works with you to create a comprehensive discharge plan and connect you with appropriate continuing care resources in your home community.
