Rockland Recovery provides a seamless continuum of care to support clients at every stage of their recovery journey. From medically supervised detox to flexible outpatient services and supportive sober living, each program is designed to provide the appropriate level of structure and therapy, guiding individuals toward sustainable, long-term sobriety.
Program Length: 7-10 Days
The first step for many, the detox program offers 24/7 medical supervision to manage withdrawal symptoms safely and comfortably. This crucial phase stabilizes clients physically, preparing them for the therapeutic work ahead.
Typical Stay: 30-60 Days
In this program, clients live in comfortable, gender-specific homes and are transported to the clinical site for a full day of programming (Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm). This "Florida Model" blends intensive therapy with a supportive, community-based living environment.
Schedule: Morning (9am-12pm) or Evening (6pm-9pm)
IOP provides a step-down level of care where clients attend therapy for several hours a day while living at home or in sober living. This program is ideal for practicing recovery skills while managing work or family responsibilities. Virtual options are also available.
Typical Stay: 3-12+ months
Through partnerships, Rockland Recovery offers access to sober living homes that provide a safe, structured, and substance-free environment. This is an excellent option for clients completing higher levels of care who need continued support and accountability.
Environment & Accommodations
Rockland Recovery operates on a "Florida Model," which separates living quarters from clinical treatment. Clients reside in large, comfortable, fully-furnished homes located in quiet suburban neighborhoods. These residences create a supportive, community-focused atmosphere. Clients are transported daily to a separate clinical facility for their therapeutic programming. This model helps simulate real-world living while providing intensive structure and care. The campus is open, not locked, fostering an environment of trust and personal responsibility.
Clients live in upscale, gender-specific residential homes, offering a comfortable alternative to institutional settings.
Each client shares a room with roommates, fostering peer accountability, support, and community building.
Each house accommodates 12-15 clients, ensuring a close-knit community and personalized attention.
Policies & Rules
The facilities are not locked, promoting personal accountability. Clients are expected to adhere to the program structure.
Suboxone is permitted when clinically necessary. Methadone is not preferred, and clients may be tapered down.
To accommodate client needs, smoking and vaping are permitted in specially designated outdoor areas.
Clients are allowed full access to personal electronics, including cell phones and laptops, promoting real-world integration.
After an initial stabilization period (detox), family visits are encouraged during PHP and IOP levels of care.
