Is Suboxone (MAT) permitted?
Yes, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with FDA-approved medications like Suboxone is available for clients in our detox, residential, and specialized MOD programs. However, MAT is not permitted in our sober living homes.
Daily Life, Rules & Family
How long will I be there?
Length of stay is based on clinical need. Typical stays are: Detox for 5-7 days, Residential for 30 days, and IOP for 6-10 weeks. The MOD program length varies for each client.
What is the living situation like? Can I get my own room?
The living situation is comfortable and home-like, set in houses within quiet neighborhoods. All rooms are shared with roommates to promote peer support. Private rooms are not available.
Is this a closed/locked facility?
Our detox unit is a locked facility to ensure client safety during withdrawal. The residential program is secure, meaning clients are supervised and not free to come and go, but it is not locked. Clients can access the backyard and could choose to leave against medical advice (AMA).
Can I use my phone/laptop? Is smoking allowed?
Yes, smoking and vaping are permitted in designated outdoor areas. Personal electronics like phones and laptops are not allowed. Clients in residential care can use a landline for 15 minutes per week; there is no phone access in detox.
What should I bring?
For a 30-day residential rehab, pack enough comfortable, casual clothing for about a week, including weather-appropriate items. Bring personal hygiene products, a government-issued ID, insurance card, and any prescribed medications in their original bottles. A small amount of cash, a notebook, and personal items like books (if allowed) are also recommended. Always confirm with our facility for a specific packing list.
What should I leave at home?
Please leave all drugs, alcohol, and paraphernalia at home. Electronics like laptops and smartphones, weapons, expensive jewelry, and revealing clothing or apparel with inappropriate logos are also prohibited to maintain a safe and focused therapeutic environment.
Who provides care here? Are there psychiatrists on staff?
Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team including licensed counselors, nurses, and support staff. A Nurse Practitioner is on-site for medical needs, working under the supervision of a Medical Director (doctor) whom clients are not likely to see directly.
Who will be in treatment with me?
You will be in a small, supportive community of co-ed adults (18+) from diverse backgrounds, including those with private insurance and Medicaid. Our capacity is 6 for detox and 10 for residential, ensuring an intimate setting. Housing is gender-specific for detox and sober living.
What is the family involvement and visitation policy?
Family involvement is a key part of recovery. We offer family therapy sessions, educational workshops, and online resources. On-site family visitation is permitted on Sundays.
What kind of aftercare and follow-up support is available?
We provide robust aftercare planning and support to prevent relapse. This includes our step-down Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), our Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOD) program, and transitional sober living housing.
Is there any follow-up after discharge?
Yes, we provide continued recovery support and robust discharge planning. Our full continuum of care, including IOP and sober living, serves as a direct pathway for ongoing support after completing a higher level of care.
