The Detox/Residential phase is in a dorm-style facility. Later phases are in apartment-style community houses. Private rooms are not available; all clients have roommates to encourage community and accountability.

No, it is not a locked facility. However, the initial Detox/Residential phase is highly structured and secure. Clients are not free to come and go, and leaving against medical advice (AMA) results in discharge.
Can I use my phone/laptop? Is smoking allowed?
Yes, smoking/vaping is allowed in designated areas. Phone use is highly restricted. There is a blackout period in detox, followed by about 1 hour of access per day in residential. Access increases in later phases.
What should I bring? What should I leave at home?
Bring one week's worth of clothing, prescribed medications, and one personal pillow/blanket. Leave all drugs/alcohol, products containing alcohol (perfume, mouthwash), weapons, outside food/drink, and pornographic materials. All vape/cigarette products must be new and unopened. Electronics and credit cards will be held by staff.
Who provides care here? Are there doctors on staff?
The clinical team consists of nurses, nurse practitioners (NPs), licensed therapists, and case managers. They do not have medical doctors (MDs) on staff.
Who will be in treatment with me?
The program is co-ed for adults (18+). You will be in treatment with a diverse group of men and women, with an average age range of late 20s to 40s. The peer group is a mix of people with private insurance seeking help for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
What is the family involvement and visitation policy?
Family involvement is encouraged through a dedicated Family Program and therapy sessions. During the first 30 days, visitation for pre-approved guests is on Sundays from 6:30-8:30 PM. In later phases, clients can earn passes for off-site visits.
